THE ARMSTRONG WHITWORTH ALBEMARLE

The Armstrong Whitworth A.W.41 Albemarle

Was a twin-engine British transport aircraft

And was one of the aircraft which entered service

With the Royal Air Force during the Second World War

It was originally planned to fulfil a bomber role

But was re-tasked for aerial reconnaissance and transport
