THE MARTIN BALTIMORE

 

The Martin 187 Baltimore was an American

Twin-engine light attack bomber

Originally ordered by the French in May 1940

But after the fall of France They were diverted

To Britain for the RAF and were used exclusively

In the Mediterranean and Middle East theatres

Operating to great effect for the duration of the war
